THE GOLDEN TICKET

As part of our launch, we are giving away a single golden ticket that is now hidden in one of the  copies of The Art Lovers that Fiona signed at the printer.  Thousands of books were signed in the process and she slipped the golden ticket into one of them without anyone knowing – including herself – where that book has ended up.  It could be anywhere across Australia/NZ.

If it turns out to be your book, then congratulations, you have won a $100 voucher to spend at your local bookstore.

COMPETITION TERMS

 As part of our (Penguin Random House Australia Pty Ltd’s) Fiona McIntosh’s Golden Ticket Competition, 1 x lucky entrant will \ win a voucher to your local bookstore (valued at $100 in total).

How do I enter?

1. Enter our competition by sending a photo of the Golden Ticket to publicity@penguinrandomhouse.com.au, as proof
2. Entries are open from 27 October 2026 until 27 October 2027.

Who can enter?

3. You can enter our competition if you are an Australian resident. If you are under 18, you need your parent or legal guardian to enter this competition and accept these terms.
4. Unfortunately, you cannot enter if you are an employee of Penguin Random House Australia Pty Ltd or any of its suppliers or competitors.

What are the conditions of entry?

5. By entering our competition, you agree to these competition terms and our Privacy Policy (https://www.penguin.com.au/privacy-statement). When you enter, you assign to us any intellectual property rights you may have in your entry.
6. You can only enter our competition once and you must use your own name. We will ignore any unauthorised entries or entries with incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information.

How will the prize be awarded?

7. We will confirm the winning entry by receiving proof of finding the Gold Ticket, but accepting a photo.

8. We will notify the winners by email.

What are the conditions of winning a prize?

9. If your winning entry is selected, you consent to us publishing your name and winning entry. You also agree to give us any documents that we ask from you so that we can verify your eligibility to enter our competition.
10. You acknowledge that you cannot exchange the prize or take it as cash, and that the actual value of the prize may change. You also forfeit your prize if you do not accept the prize within 5 calendar days of us notifying you as the winner.
11. You acknowledge that we will not be responsible for any prizes that are lost or damaged during delivery, and that we may also suspend, cancel or modify our competition for any reason.
12. You acknowledge that the laws of the State of Victoria govern these terms and that you irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Victoria.
